Welcome to the Arc Training Solutions
Since starting in 2011 Arc Training Services has trained many men and women in the various methods and techniques in safety and welding processes. Training takes place at our dedicated training facility in Carlow, where each delegate is allocated his/her own work bay which is fully equipped with the latest welding equipment.
We offer a range of courses starting with introductory training for people with no prior welding experience to those who need to update and increase their skill set. Trainees are trained by fully qualified and experienced welding instructors who have years of practical welding experience. We arrange testing for trainees with an independent inspector at our site when they are ready.

Certification
Arc Training Services will arrange for independent weld testing on site when trainees are welding to required standard. Successfully completion means certification or qualification in welding.
Basic Course
This course will provide participants with the skills, knowledge and competence to enable them to use Manual Metal Arc Welding equipment safely and correctly.
Intermediate Course
Participants of the Intermediate Course will be taught how to weld plates in positions 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G, and give them a knowledge to enable them to use Manual Metal Arc Welding equipment.
Advanced Course
On completion of this course participants will be given the opportunity to test for a Certificate in Manual Metal Arc for Butt Welds on pipe in positions 2G, 5G, 6G, to EN 287 part 1 standard.
Coded Pipe Course
This course has been designed to provide industry with personnel who are certified in coded pipe welding. The aim of the course is to provide trainees with the skills and related knowledge.
